You Could Be the O.N.E. [GIVEAWAY!]

by Hillary on October 4, 2010

I hope y’all have had a great start your week – personally, these next two weeks are going to be a bit insane for me – but, if you didn’t have a stellar Monday, perhaps a giveaway will cheer you up!

The folks at One Natural Experience [O.N.E.] got word of my new obsession with coconut water. After all, I did vote it my #1 beverage for September. I’m not much a ‘beverage lover’ per say. For me, food > drinks any day. However, I am loving the new addition of this healthful liquid in my diet.

It’s been especially helpful for quenching my thirst after intense training workouts. I think all athletes should give it a try [maybe twice if you’re not a fan the first time].

The best thing about it is, it’s HEALTHY!

So… if you haven’t tried the newest, natural ‘sport drink’ out there, or you already share my strong liking for it, O.N.E. has generously offered to give away FOUR CASES of free coconut water to FOUR lucky readers.

Naturally, there are FOUR ways to enter [leave 1 comment for each way of entry]:

1. Leave a comment telling which O.N.E. recipe you’d most like to try, OR share with us an additional health benefit of coconut water.

2. Follow O.N.E. @onecoconut.

3. Follow me @HILLontherun.

4. Subscribe to NN on the Run in a reader.

Four random winners will be selected Friday, October 8th @ 6:00pm.

Who knows… you could be the O.N.E.

See ya, guys!

Hillary

I would probably like to try the O.N.E. peachy keen martini… and finish the O.N.E. coconut water between drinks to keep the follow up morning happy (we don’t want any hangovers do we?). Although, there were so many recipes that looked good!

Tina October 4, 2010 at 9:04 pm

You’ve been added to Google Reader. I do have to say that I’ve tried other coconut waters and I’m excited to try this one. So far, I’ve found that they taste much better if they are really cold (I tossed the container in the freezer for a half of an hour or so and it was perfect). It was perfect when I got home from my 3 mile run.

Tina October 4, 2010 at 9:06 pm

The Mojito Any-O.N.E. sounds super yummy! I’ve (on multiple occasions) cleared the shelves of O.N.E. coconut water at the grocery store; my husband and I LOVE it! Also, I was making sweet tamales this weekend and used it in place of regular water. The end result was awesome!

I have read that coconut water is closest in chemical makeup to blood plasma and this is why it’s assimilated so quickly to repair damage caused by dehydration. Of course I am not a scientist, so I don’t know if this is true, but it’s still better than dyed-HFCS sport drinks. ugh. shudder.

I use it to lighten up my smoothies that have gotten too thick.
