My Life List

by Hillary on November 6, 2010

I’ve reflected much about my life over the course of this semester.

I’ve realized that I’m quite tired of living inside of the lines.

I’ve learned to live a little more.

& with that, I began to create a life list:

give birth. publish a book. bake for charity. spend the holidays in the snow. run 26.2 miles. take a photography class. eat Greek yogurt in Santorini, Greece. donate blood. live by myself. plant a vegetable garden of my own. milk a cow. raise a chocolate lab named Kona. spend a fall in New England. complete a triathlon [as an adult]. own a pink Kitchen Aid. dance in my underwear. speak French with a native in France. see a play on Broadway. take the subway. spare my change. be a barista. have iced coffee with Tina. volunteer regularly. write for a magazine. be a Title Nine “model”. learn to parallel park.

to.be.continued.

Parallel parking is easy! I’ve taught many people how to do it successfully in the first try. :) Maybe I should make a YouTube video tutorial. Ha! Sounds like a good list!

I want to go to Rome! And get married and have babies, have work published in a magazine/newspaper/book, and get a puppy!

On my bucket list there is DEFINITELY a marathon…and visiting Greece! I love the history and beauty of everything there; it’s fascinating and just awe-inspiring.

P.S. I have a present for you! Check it out, girl: http://chefkatelyn.wordpress.com/2010/11/06/im-sooocaught-up/

My dad taught me to parallel park with a knife and fork at the dinner table one night. That and living in San Luis Obispo and not every buying a parking pass for school made me pro at parallel parking. You should try it :) And if you want snowy holidays, I’m living in snow country now. You’re more than welcome to visit!

I love the list – especially being a barista. I have always wanted to do that too – maybe when I have kids & don’t want to work full time!

What is a Title Nine Model?

I have tons of things on my bucket list including lots of traveling and career/family oriented things!

Title Nine is a women’s athletic clothing company. Their catalog clothing ‘models’ are real, active women. Next to each photo are personal tidbits about their healthy lifestyles :)

Does marriage come in there somewhere – like before giving birth? Only a grandma would ask! XO
