After a super start to the day, my parents + I headed south for lunch in Loleta.
I had heard many great reviews of this quaint cafe, but had yet to go. It was just the right – light, yet cozy – atmosphere to play with Dad’s new camera (squeal!).
Lovely menu + a lovely latte.
Mom + I shared a pizzetta on foccacia bread with caramelized onions, gorgonzola, walnuts + thyme
… and a beauty of a beet salad with goat cheese, pecans and simple vinaigrette.
Then it was to a matinee of A Christmas Story, starring Ralphie Parker.
What’s the last play you’ve seen?
Tonight, I pulled out my favorite Christmas CDs and began deckin’ the halls + trimmin’ the tree.
‘Tis the season!
