get inspired, get life.

Hey hey!

Warning. Randomness ahead. As if today’s a.m. post wasn’t already random enough!

First thing. Guest post @ Get Fit Get Life: A New Year, A New {Healthy Eating} MindsetHave you heard of intuitive eating?

Second thing. It’s Running Tuesday. I didn’t run today. Second day “off” after my 40-mile streak. Instead, I did a 30-minute treadmill workout + 24-minute fitness routine. Running shall resume manana.

Third thing. Lunch today was superb. I could see my insides smiling with each crunchy bite of kale.

raw kale. black beans. avocado. dried cranberries. chevre.
doused in thick balsamic vinegar + drizzle of olive oil

Fourth thing. Naturally I followed my fiber-rich lunch with dark chocolate + 2 cups of metabolism-boosting green tea.

Fifth thing. Look what I stumbled upon. I wish it was dated. My guess is middle school, possibly early high school (swam through sophomore year). Some things never change.

Last thing. I finally finished my 2012 inspiration board, inspired by the lovely Fitnessista. I spy 26.2 and D-O-I-N-G, a couple things on my Twenty Twelve To-Do List.

I’m hungry. Dinner time!

See ya later,

Hill

Great goals! I have 26.2 on my “to-do” list too, and a special one at that. NYC marathon here I come (I hope!)!

The best place for me to put it would be on the fridge, but that may be annoying for everyone else in the house. What if you put it on the back of you bedroom door, then you would see it every time you left your room.

I love the idea of an inspiration board! I used to make collages all the time when I was younger, I miss them.

I was so inspired by Fitnessista’s idea to make a board myself! How funny that you stumbled upon your resolutions from years past :P I think “become a better dancer” could be on my resolution list every year and I’d never achieve it haha!
