November was a longgg (and difficult) month, but there was a lot of good stuff going on around here, too. Let’s recap on a few favorites! It’s best to look on the bright side.
Life.
- The blog celebrated its 3rd birthday!
- I said goodbye to my girls and reflected on my experience as a coach for Girls on the Run.
- I had a grateful Thanksgiving weekend with Grandma & Grandpa.
Running & CrossFit Training.
- I registered for the Jack Frost 10K and am loving my training schedule.
- I hosted a Healthy Holiday Challenge and encourage you to join in throughout the holiday season! #sweatdailyindulgeoften
- I fell deeper in love with CrossFit with a total of 18 WODs for the month and the motivation from a killer Winter WOD Playlist.
Eats.
- We talked Oatmeal Chocolate Chunk Cookies, CrossFit cravings, healthy fall comfort food recipes, and Fresh Cranberry Pumpkin Bread – mmm!
Now I am totally ready (or not!?) for December to enjoy more of my favorite things…
What were the highlights of your November?
You’re not alone – November was emotionally difficult for me as well. This whole life post-graduation has been a tough pill for me to swallow. Hope it’s treating you better than I :)
Let’s tackle December! That peppermint bark sounds to die for. Must get my hands on that asap. TGIF :D
November was a tough month for me too. With a move across the Atlantic, it has been an adjustment to say the least. I’m embracing it and looking forward to the holidays :)
You had a busy month! Lots of good stuff going on around here : ) November was tough for me too, hoping December gets better for us!
November has definitely been a good month for you, can’t wait to see what December brings! BTW – totally hopping on the bandwagon for your #sweatdailyindulgeoften linkup. Such a great idea… especially the indulging part :)
It’s so nice to see that, despite it being a difficult month, you look on the bright side and write about the highlights! My month was also full of some ups and downs, but two of my highlights were running in my hometown’s annual 5K and submitting my masters thesis!
Congrats on submitting your thesis – what an accomplishment!
Now it is over and on to December! I hope you have an easier month this time!!
I can’t believe it is already December! I do hope you have an easier month and an even better new year!
I still get a kick out of how “BURPEES” is written nice & big on that paper. I can’t stand burpees! But because of that, I’ve actually given myself a challenge for December that involves doing burpees every day (posted about it on my blog). We’ll see how that goes :P
That sounds like a lot of burpees :)
