I wasn’t planning to publish a post today, but I have a few thoughts that are running around in my head… so I thought I would put ’em out there.
>> My Quick Cherry Coconut Oatmeal recipe is up on the Anytime Fitness blog. I have certainly been celebrating National Oatmeal Month — have you?
>> I don’t think I’ve told you that I signed up for a 30 mile bike ride on April 27th. My dad and I are going to ride it together. I don’t plan to go buck wild with any sort of training plan, as it is just going to be a fun ride.
>> Today is the last day to enter the KIND Nuts & Spices Giveaway — 4 boxes of low-sugar, nutty goodness could be yours! P.S. Y’all really want to try the Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt flavor. If I could send each of you a box, I would.
>> I think I have been consuming too much almond butter. Three servings a day is normal, right? ;)
>> After I posted the 400 Reps 4 Time Workout yesterday, I realized that my ugly graphic was making me gag. Easter explosion? Alright, I’m weird… but it has been driving me crazy. Just had to put it out there. The workout is still a butt-kicker, nonetheless.
Ahh, so much better — clean & simple.
>> I am more than ready for Friday/Pay Day — pedis (Saturday) and pancakes (Sunday) with my girls are on deck.
I am always ready for the weekend…I guess that’s kind of bad, but it’s nice to relax and take it easy.
Your oatmeal looks pretty tasty with those cherries. Mine’s been semi boring with chia seeds and banana slices. I need to mix it up!
That oatmeal looks delicious! I can’t start the day without a yummy bowl of oatmeal.
Pay Day, pedis and pancakes sounds like a winning weekend!!
I am so so ready for the weekend, but I guess that’s nothing new… Bike ride sounds awesome!
It takes me forever to decide on the right graphics for workouts and recipes! Half the time I end up not liking them either. Perfectionist???
You bet! I had to re-do it, had to! ;)
I always feel like I am eating too many nuts / almond butter! Guess I just need to be more creative with my snacks!
That oatmeal looks unbelievable! Suddenly I’m craving that for dinner.
No, there’s no limit to how much almond butter you can consume in a day. Not in my book, at least!
The oatmeal looks wonderful! I’ve definitely been eating lots of oatmeal this month; in fact, I had overnight oats for breakfast this a.m.! :-)
Sounds like you have a nice weekend planned. Enjoy!
I just go nuts over coconuts and your quick cherry coconut oatmeal recipe sounds and looks great! It’s funny how one never thinks of these combinations until somebody points them out. Thanks loads Hillary! Will give it a go.
