Boy oh boy, is it wonderful to eat again!
Of course, I’m not back in the game 100% – going easy on the intestines.
Baby Brex:
Antioxidant Oats: 1 cup water, 1/3 cup rolled oats, 1/3 cup blueberries, pom arils
Light Lunch:
1/2 pint of wild rice, brown rice, quinoa, green onion, feta & olive oil
2 pieces of local, organic grilled tofu
According to the bottle, the effects of drinking kombucha (tea) are as follows:
– naturally detoxifying & energizing
– helps strengthen immune system
– aids digestion
– regulates sugar levels & appetite
All good things in my book!
My friend, Daisy is coming over this afternoon for some cold, foggy day baking. Off to mise en place the recipe (French for “put things in place”).
