Oh my! We’ve been reunited… me and my computer, that is. She is home and much healthier. Her hospital stay was a little longer than I had planned [sorry y’all], but after several tests, the doc was able to diagnose a couple major problems with her health. There was no thinking twice about ordering her prescription: 4GB of RAM. It’s no cheap ‘drug’, but she desperately needs to increase her memory. By this weekend, I should be a much faster blogger, 4x faster to be exact – yay!
Okay, okay… life did go on without my personal laptop the past few days – shocking!
So, Friday, my
little sister friend Daisy and I escaped the fog bubble we live in and drove to the river. Our bodies need Vitamin D, even if that means driving 50 miles each way to get our monthly dose.
Yes, I know… crystal clear, blue water, old – very old – Redwood trees, and white
sandy rocky beaches – this beauty isn’t just anywhere. I love you, Humboldt County.

Not surprisingly, the good eating continued while my lifeline was away. Zucchini Parmesan, anyone? I have to give all the credit to my dad for that one, but I’ll share the recipe with you. You’ll want it, I swear.
So glad to be back!
P.S. #1 I was so so so so happy with the results of The Bachelorette last night, yet sad the summer season is over. All I can say is tabloids are a joke… they totally fooled me into thinking Ali wasn’t ending up with either Chris or Roberto. Anyway, I liked the finale so much that I may go watch it a second time [don’t judge].
P.S. #2 Go check out my latest article at College Lifestyles: 8 Healthy August Activities
P.S. #3 My training schedule is up to date!
