…my only sunshine. You make me happeee when skies are grey. You’ll never know, dear, how much I love you. Please don’t take my sushi away.
Someone had a cup of caffeinated coffee around 8:30pm tonight, and that nutty person would be me. I am becoming quite the addict. I really didn’t want or need the caffeine – just the aroma and flavor that my tongue has become accustomed to – but it’s all we had. So now I’m up writing a post as the clock ticks into tomorrow. I have to be up and ready to run by 7:45 in the morning [90 minutes is the plan!], before working my last wedding for the summer. Yep, last day of work for a while – happy, sad, or a bit of both?
Today’s 7 hours of prep was exhausting – it always is. I came home, dove into a frozen bag of chocolate chips – true story – and then proceeded to order sushi to-go for the final time this summer. I will miss you, Sunshine Roll.
I spoiled my appetite with my chocolate appetizer, so I have one of my two rolls in the fridge waiting for lunch duty tomorrow – yesss.
yam tempura, avocado, mango & cilantro
…it really is like sunshine on a foggy, Humboldt County August day.
Alright, time to get my
beauty runner’s rest. Catch ya later, loves.

What are your exercise plans this weekend? Long run Saturday. Long ride Sunday.
What’s the craziest sushi roll you’ve ever eaten? I think the Sunshine & Dragonfly rolls are both very unique.
