Hey ya! …and just like that, 1 more week down. Not like I’m counting ;)
It was a pretty typical Friday around here. Thankfully, I didn’t feel like complete crud. Fresh, colorful eats are healthy helpers.
Repeat of yesterday much?
1/2 sprouted wheat tortilla w. roasted garlic hummus, tomato, cucumber, yellow bell, organic lettuce.
After class this afternoon, I felt well enough to hit up the WREC. Though I didn’t feel 100%, the exercise junkie inside me was a bit stir crazy, and running on a treadmill was really appealing… despite the incredibly sunny November blue sky outside.
- 60-minute treadmill run [7.39 mi.] – Ahh, that’s exactly what I needed!
10 min. @ 8:20 pace
20 min. @ 8:13 pace
30 min. @ 8:06 pace
final 30 min. @ 1.0 incline
- 20 push-ups, stretch, home…
You need to move your body for more than burning calories.
You need to sweat for more than dropping pounds.
You need to push it 10 minutes longer because it feels good.
Or feels difficult in a way that takes you to a place of nirvana.
You need to CRAVE that physical activity.
It needs to become a part of you.
Or you’ll never, ever get why you should do it.
