Oh, hello!
I hope you all are having a happy Hump Day. I’ve been enjoying a rather low key Wednesday. I didn’t have class this afternoon, so that meant after “work” (internship), I was free to roam… or crawl into bed with my textbook + Sugar Balance tea. I had planned to be sweatin’ at the gym at this time, but I decided my body could use a physical and mental rest day after 8 days straight at the WREC.
After a mini afternoon snooze (I literally rested), I got to register for fall classes! The computer system was down during my initial registration time, so I was relieved when I still got my dream schedule signing-up hours later.
I have to say, I’m pretty darn excited about all of my classes. I just hope I like my professors because, for me, that is what makes or breaks a class.

With only 3 classes on campus (+ 1 online), I have lotsa space to fill with work ($$$), additional internships, and exercise! It’s hard to believe I’ve nearly completed 4 years of college – cr-cr-crazy.
Anyway, on a non-academic note, I wanted to share some recent reads that you might find of interest:

I’ve taken a few online classes and I enjoy them! I’m not one to procrastinate, and some of the classes actually let you get them done EARLY. So I’m a fan of that. As long as you take time for it like you do other classes (which I’m sure you will!), they are great!
What a great schedule! I’ve never taken an online class, but from what I hear, they are always easier. WOO-HOO!
Glad I found your blog! :-)
I’m taking an Art Appreciation class online right now. It’s the first online class I have ever taken. I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but I have generally liked it so far. Every other week we have a quiz over a chapter in our book, and the OTHER every other week we have to submit an assignment through email. Usually the assignments are essays or something similar that we submit in Word documents. My experience has been pretty good, and I’m planning on taking an online Anthropology class for the fall.
I go to a large university, but we don’t have a nutrition program. It’s such a shame! I’m jealous of your schedule!
I’ve never taken an online class, but I think it would be a decent option…
I’ve taken 2 online courses. They’re great because you can do them when it fits best into your schedule. However, with that being said, you do need to be extremely disciplined with getting everything done. Otherwise it’ll just pile up. I usually make a list of what needs to be done in each online class by the end of the week…and then make sure it gets done. Good luck! Your schedule does look great tho! I just registered as well, and I am definitely jealous of your class times, etc.
I remember signing up for courses and planning everything out! I LOVED doing that…and then switching it up every semester. Right now, I am taking an online course and a “in person” course at Cal to finalize some prereq classes before applying for graduate school for physical therapy. After being a teacher for 3 years, it has definitely made me think about what type of student I am!
My fast, go to breakfast includes: a banana, Justin’s maple nut butter to go packet and a latte. :)
AH you’re almost done! SAVOR IT! And don’t work too hard!!
Also, Nutrition Through the Life Cycle was my favorite class ever ever ever. I learned more in that class and remember more from it than any other of my classes in college. It is so useful and relevant!
