Today is (was) Running Tuesday. I ran!
- 24-minute TM run (20 min. @ 8:00 pace + 4 x 1 min. @ 6:40 pace)
- 24-minute cycle (8.1 mi.)
- 12-minute StairMaster
- kettlebells – mostly abs @ 14lb.
Yesterday was Monday. I ran then, too!
- 80-minute TM run (10.2 mi.)
60 min. alternating 8:00/8:20 pace every 10 min. // 18 min. @ 7:30 pace // 2 min. @ 7:00 pace
- + (real) stairs
abs (2 center planks @ 1 min. // 2 side planks @ 30 sec.)
kettlebells – abs, arms & legs @ 18lb.
Next week is the 16th week of the semester… a.k.a. Finals Week – bare with me through the end.
I’ve created some epic oatmeal combinations in the past, but I think I set a new standard with my most recent recipe.
I wish I had an infinite supply of money solely for purchasing exercise attire.
Speaking of, I still have not bought new running shoes! My current Asics have trained with me through 2+ half-marathons, and I’m about to burn a hole through my oh-so-comfy Frees. This is problematic.
I’m making this avocado black bean corn salsa Thursday for a potluck.
I got my first sunburn of the season this past weekend and it’s technically not even summer yet.
Trader Joe’s Coffee Bean Blast ice cream is outstanding. If you haven’t tried it, I highly suggest you do. Though, it’s possible you’ll finish the quart in <1 week. Don’t tell me I didn’t warn you.
