Yesterday’s workout at the WREC got me thinking about my recent shift in training. I’m not currently training for any races, and even though I still love a long weekend run to clear my head, I have a new found love for high-intensity exercise. I can see change in my body because of it… and I like that!
Now it feels weird when I don’t incorporate any type of strength training into a workout; it doesn’t feel complete. I contribute much of my increased running speed to resistance training.
