TGIF! Thank Goodness It’s Friday and Thank Goodness It’s FALL!!
Today is the last day of summer, meaning tomorrow comes the best season of them all :)
Summer certainly has its perks. I’ll miss the light nights and outdoor happy hour with friends, the stone fruit and berries, the weekend road trips and country tunes;
but, my heart belongs to the season of crunchy leaves, foamy lattes, crisp morning runs, sweatshirt days and comforting pear crisps.
I created a short, 6 item, bucket list for the coming autumn months, just as I did for summer {revisited below}.
How did I do?
- Master hair braiding. NO – no attempt made either. #lazy
- Register for 26.2 & start training. NO – despite my enthusiasm at the start of the new year for running a full, I’m fairly confident that goal will stare me in the face again in 2013.
- Read 1 book. NO – pathetic, yes.
- Save $ to purchase a Mac Pro. YES – I love Miss Mac!
- Make strawberry basil mojitos. YES – mojito-making was on the regular this summer.
- Uncover my 6-pack. NO – core noticeably stronger, most definitely.
- Rock climb. YES – once. Done and done.
I’m left a bit dissatisfied with my 3 of 7 attempts. Though I know better than to beat myself up about it.
Did you complete any or all of your summer ambitions?
What’s on your Fall 2012 bucket list?

I love fall also (and your goals!) :) Quick question, what program do you use to make up your word/graphics? Good luck on meeting your fall goals!
I used Picasa for my bucket lists :)
No point rushing into a full marathon, wait for when you feel the time is right! Good luck meeting your fall goals, I couldn’t be more excited for this season :)
I love the idea of a season bucket list. Only I always forget my goals.
hair braiding is tough!! i really want to run some races, but i never sign up in time to train!
