Thank you, October, for being an outstanding month! I felt like I lived the month to its fullest potential — cramming each weekend with as much adventure as possible, from exploring The Big Apple to spending quality time with Mom picking pumpkins, sipping Pumpkin Apple Cider Fizz cocktails, and hiking Yosemite National Park with my main squeeze. There was so much laughter, so much sunshine, and so much to be thankful for.
October 2013, you are a month to remember.
Fitness.
Fitness was not the main attraction this month. Highlights include >> walking miles around NYC, running across the Williamsburg bridge with family, and hiking the Vernal Falls Trail in Yosemite.

Food.
There was a lot of good eatin’ in October. Highlights include >> pumpkin lobster ravioli at a Michelin star restaurant, comforting butternut squash & kale ragout over polenta, and Kona coffee ice cream from an antique parlor in the middle of CA.

Life.
I think I’ve said it already. I lived. I laughed. I loved.

Did you do/eat anything outstanding in October!?
Sounds like you had a wonderful month! The highlight of October for me was making all sorts of pumpkin foods. I can never get enough pumpkin this time of year! And, the other note-worthy thing that took place this month was celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary this past weekend! :-)
Happy Anniversary :)
Where did you find that daily cup coffee cup!? So cute!!
Hmmm, good question. Have had it for a while… maybe Peet’s?
I ran a PR half-marathon! And I saw Crosby Stills Nash and Young play at the Bridge School Benefit!
Awesome – congrats!
Looks like a terrific month! October has been so crazy and great for me. The highlight of the month for me was getting the opportunity to spend the weekend at Texas A&M for a conference on nutrition and feeding the world. I can’t wait to see what Nov. has in store.
I HAVE THAT SAME COFFE MUG (the one that reads ‘daily cup’)!!
