What do you do with a 32 oz. jar of creamy peanut that doesn’t meet your nut butter standards?
I bought a jar of Brad’s Organic Peanut Butter at Costco semi-recently; it’s not salted nor does it have superb texture, so it wasn’t getting put to use as regularly as its counterparts. No nut butter goes to waste in this household though, and since I am in baking mode – in a major way – I knew exactly where that peanut buttah was headed…
I love a classic peanut butter cookie, and you can bet I like them with chocolate chips, or – better yet – dipped in rich, dark chocolate. Since it’s the holiday season, and spiced recipes are an obligation this time of year, I decided to spice things up — simply with cinnamon!
Peanut Butter Cookie meet Snickerdoodle.
I had fun with the photo shoot — enjoy!
Oh, and the recipe >> pin it, print it, e-mail it!

What is your favorite “classic” cookie?
What should I do with the remainder of the sub-par PB?
These cookies look fantastic! A perfect resolution to your sub-standard jar of PB. Lets see…for the rest of it…well, some would probably be good used in smoothies! :-)
Maybe use the rest of the PB for peanut sauce?
The photo shoot is beautiful – and I love peanut butter. I’m a runner, too, and so I pretty much live on pb :) My favorite classic cookie is Nestle Toll House chocolate chip, but I’m also a sucker for a soft sugar cookie. Happy November!
Peanut butter cookies are always a hit around here. Although we love ours to have chocolate, too! Great photos! Very appetizing!
These look delicious! Great photos, too. :)
My two all-time favorite cookies in one! So perfect. Thanks for the recipe!
Looks fantastic. I feel like you can’t go wrong with peanut butter cookies!
Yum, these sound (and look) delicious. My fave cookie is chocolate chip. Hands down!
Girl, these look amazing and if I would have done the photo shoot there would have only been like two cookies left to take pictures of!
These look and sound delicious! I love peanut butter cookies and I love snickerdoodles, so this is clearly the best of both worlds!
This looks very yummy, thanks for the recipe.
Holy moly I wanna pluck one those bad boys off the screen!
Two of my favorite cookies in one? Unbelievable. A great way to use up unwanted nut butter!
I’m loving your pics with the cute little spoon. It makes me want to reach through the screen and grab one of these bad boys!
I would make peanut butter “granola” bars with peanut butter, nuts, coconut, and honey. Delicious and healthy!
Those look delicious! One of my favorite go-to’s are my college roommate’s chocolate chip cookies, or my grandmother’s peanut butter cookies with the Hershey’s kiss on top :)
