5. NO more baking! #nomoresugar
I am grateful for yesterday’s run, albeit short in distance. I caught the last bit of daylight to stomp through the crunchy leaves at interval pace. It’s been quite the journey to heal my knee; but, I’ve found gratitude in two-mile runs. I am grateful to be running at all… and thankful to be running outdoors in the fall.
Note: Banana Chocolate Chip PB Bars make excellent running fuel.
What a beautiful sunset! I’m grateful for being able to spend time with family this weekend, and I’m grateful that my foot is finally healed from a stress fracture and I can finally start my normal workout routine again!
Loving the pictures! And I love all the baking you’re doing, it’s giving me some great ideas!
By the way, I nominated you for a Sunshine Award today on my blog, because your blog is obviously one of my favs! :)
Thanks, Elise! :)
These pictures are gorgeous – what a great run!
I’m thankful for having an almost fully healed knee… now I finally have started CrossFit & am loving it so far :)
Have a great weekend!
Beautiful sunset! I’m thankful for running, too, after two years of off and on injury, it’s hard not to be : ) So glad your knee is on the mend!
Beautiful fall photos! The leaves have started falling quickly here in the Midwest, and I’m not quite ready for it :)
Love your photos! I am grateful for a good job, a husband I love, and a healthy body! :)
All wonderful things!
Beautiful fall pictures! I love going for runs outside in the fall when all the leaves are falling and everything looks so pretty! I always forget to snap some pics though.
Pretty sunset! I love the way the sky turns the color of the leaves. And girl, I know how you feel about being grateful to do ANYTHING after knee troubles. I feel blessed after every exercise and time I can walk now!
Beautiful! Fall is seriously the best time of year! I sometimes feel overwhelmed with all of the beauty and perfect temperatures! I am grateful for that. :)
Love those pictures! What a beautiful sunset. I’m grateful for my healthy body and mind. Can’t ever take that for granted!
My heart has really gone out to you following along with your knee trouble – I am so delighted to hear that it is doing a little bit better. Hope it continues to heal, it has been quite a trying time for you.
Thanks, Ashley — this year has taught me a lot.
I can imagine how frustrating it must be to have knee pain and not do something you love to the full extent. However, I completely agree with you that you need to savor even the short runs. I’m grateful to not have had a running injury yet.
Glad to hear your run went well! I am going to miss all of the beautiful colors on the trees in a few weeks. I can’t believe how pretty the sky was, too – gorgeous pictures!
I am feeling grateful for my health. I’m finally getting back into a routine with exercise and it feels great.
everything about this post is so pretty! those bars look like a keeper :)
so happy for you with the return to running!
