Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock…
You’re probably wondering what the heck I’m doing posting a workout on a Thursday since Workout Wednesday was yesterday… just roll with it. I didn’t want to stomp on the National Cookie Day parade after all.
{pin me}
What You’ll Need
- 1 kettlebell, weight of choice
- interval timer – I use Seconds interval timer on my iPhone (it’s awesome!)
Exercises
Notes
- Deadlifts >> do right leg deadlifts for a full 45-second interval and then switch to the left leg for the second interval; repeat.
- If you have it, you may choose to use a lighter kettlebell for the lunge press.
- Training Tip >> aim to reach the same amount of reps during each 45 second interval.

Do you like interval training?
What kind of timer do you use?
Hillary, I love, love, love your workouts! Simple and intense! And I love the Christmas motif on this one…just puts you in the holiday spirit!
Thanks for the feedback. I’m trying to keep the workouts short, varied, and fun. I hope readers aren’t getting burnt out on the “Workout Wednesday” series.
Definitely not burnt out!! And I love that they’re short…especially around the holidays when everyone is pressed for time.
Love this workout! Now if only I could get my hands on a heavier kettlebell. Both the ones I have are only 20 lbs which is great, but not heavy enough…
This looks so fun! I’ve been doing more strength training in the mornings before my run and I LOVE kettlebells. Lately I’ve been using the Nike Training Club app… I’m basically obsessed with it!
I’ve heard good things!
Love the pun, love the workout, love the Christmas theme! I always try to incorporate themes and puns in to my workouts. If you don’t mind, I’d love to share this on my blog! Thanks, Hillary!
Sharing with credit is always welcome :)
Love these short and sweet workouts!
I love your workout graphic & title, so cute!!
Can not wait to try this one tomorrow!! So excited…thanks.
Amazing workout! I just finished it… At the beginning I thought, ok, this will be challenging, that’s good… By the end, I was coaching myself to be tough because I was DYING! Thanks for the great workouts!
Nice job!
