5 No Equipment Travel Workouts

Happy Workout Wednesday! I shared a new, quick (and heavy) workout with you all on Sunday, so today we’re talking travel/vacation workouts… a.k.a. no-equipment workouts that you can do anywhere.

We’ve rented a house to stay at in Kauai – rather than a condo or resort – so I won’t have access to a gym. I’m sure I will miss lifting heavy things for a week, but I plan to have a fairly active vacation — hike, swim, repeat.

I’m looking forward to some sandy runs on the beach, but I will most likely want to squeeze in some strength training before hitting the waves. These five workouts are short and do not require any equipment or very much space.

a CrossFit inspired workout — 4 moves, 5 rounds

2 // The Anywhere Workout via Women’s Health

8 moves, 1 minute each — repeat the circuit 3x for a heart-pumping workout

3 // 5-Minute Fat-Blasting Workout via Women’s Health

repeat this set of 5 moves 3-4x for a complete workout

4 // 10-Minute Vinyasa Flow Workout via FitSugar

relax, unwind, and enjoy your vacation with this energizing yoga routine

5 // 20-Minute Tabata Travel Workout

5 moves, 4 minutes each and you are done — cardio + strength

    Love this! I always plan workouts/exercise for my vacays, too! & aim for at least 2 or 3 kick butt bodyweight workouts – love your choices!!

    I love no equipment workouts whether I’m travelling or not. Hell, I even do them at the gym sometimes lol.

    Have fun in Kauai! Last time I was there, we hiked the Napali Coast and it was beautiful and a great workout :)

    I’m not gonna lie, my go-to travel workout is running! :) But, I do like to do some push-ups, planks, a bunch of different ab exercises, squats, lunges, etc.

❷⓿❷⓿ - moved clear across the country to ❷⓿❷⓿

- moved clear across the country to a new state for the second time
- hopped from one AirBNB to the next for 6 weeks while looking for a house to call home
- made new friends, virtually & IRL
- binge watched more TV shows than I can recall
- leveled up as an entrepreneur: hitting milestones with my virtual assistant and @beautycounter businesses
- voted for a new president 
- ascended new trails and explored alpine lakes of the Pacific Northwest 
- adapted: to Zoom holidays, takeout, and masked faces becoming the (temporary) norm

This challenging year was all about appreciating the little things while living through some really BIG things. 2020 had more than a few lessons to teach us all. Through a pandemic, pivotal change in presidency, and loud cry for human rights, I see very clearly how privileged I am. It was the year to let go of plans and lean in to a new perspective. 

After all, hindsight is ②⓪②⓪.

Best thing about 2020... for me, it’s been relationships - virtual and IRL.⁣⁣
