Mornin’ & happy Monday!
It was fun to break out the real camera and take snapshots of my solo, sunny weekend. Not included below are a necessary haircut and balancing yoga class (hello, tight hips!).
current breakfast obsession >> organic chia honey bread (from Costco) toasted with organic crunchy PB, banana, cinnamon & local honey
farmer’s market loot – score! – including a “burpless cucumber”
more green featuring Vega Sport Performance Protein (and eco-friendly drinkware)
Mama’s “Ruth Lake Tabbouleh”
When was the last time you used a hand-written recipe?
#hothothot
poolside with my one of my summer beauty must haves
cold creamy smoothies on the regular (recipe coming soon!)
<< Weekly Workouts >>
I didn’t post my usual Weekly Workouts recap last week, so today we’ve got double the action. I’ve been dealing with a bought of bronchitis since Mother’s Day weekend, so my exercise regimen has obviously taken a back seat as I catch my breath, literally. Now that the antibiotics have seemed to knock out the bad bugs inside, I am feeling 90%.

Love the photos, looks like a great weekend! Glad you’re starting to feel better : )
Ooof that breakfast sounds totally perfect. I need to check out this Costco bread you’re talking about!!
And definitely a fan of 100 degrees. Woo!! Such a fun weekend!
PB + banana pretty much tops every. single. combo out there in my opinion. Minus PB + chocolate, because chocolate. And what on earth is a burpless cucumber? Haha I think I need one in my life.
The FM vendor told me that some cucumbers make people belch – news to me!
I’m sorry to hear you’re having a case of bronchitis, but I hope you’re feeling much better after relaxing by the pool this weekend. ;o)
Feeling much better! :)
I haven’t tired the multi-green kombucha yet — any good?! I am glad you’re feeling better!
It sort of has a funky aftertaste that you have to get used to, but I’ve learned to like it. Definitely not my #1 flavor, but I drink it knowing it’s superb for my health!
Your weekend eats look delicious! I loved the sunshine and enjoyed a beautiful day at the beach on Sunday.
BTW, I made that lemon kale hummus last week and posted it on my blog Saturday. Gave you a little shout out, too! :)
Thanks, Kelli! :)
I love all the fresh photos! This weekend I spent a lot of time outside and it was glorious!
Do you like the “Tone It Up” videos? Do you follow along while you watch? What are your favorite videos to workout to?
Yes, I am a TIU fan. I enjoy Karena’s yoga videos, and I do follow along as I watch. I haven’t done many of the other workouts, but since I’m subscribed to the TIU emails, I check them out weekly.
Lately, I’ve been enjoying the 5-minute workouts from Women’s Health Magazine.
How about you?
Your super summery weekend is making me SO excited to get back to Louisiana at the end of the month for two weeks of summer loving!
The highlight of my weekend would actually have to be being lazy! I’ve been sick for the last week and this weekend I was feeling really awful so Jesse and I spent the entire weekend at home in bed watching episode after episode of Supernatural. I never give myself time to rest so it was definitely good to do that.
Rest is good!
Glad to hear that you’re feeling better! All of that produce looks gorgeous!!
