Re-announcing: Free Consultations!

September 9, 2014 by Hillary 8 Comments

Y’all – last Thursday, the blog got sick, real sick. I don’t know if you have noticed, but Nutrition Nut has been under the weather for the past five days! It’s been quite a headache for her mother, to say the least. All things went haywire when I impulsively upgraded to WordPress 4.0. My blog theme was not jelling with the new update and therefore left us both with an ill website.

With several hours on call with technical support, emails and Google chat with the wonderful and patient Katy, and finally a restore to previous website files, we are back.

Now, I “simply” have to manually restore content that was not included in the restore.

With that said… I am assuming that my exciting announcement last Friday could have been missed by many, so here it is. Apologies if I sound like a broken record. Thanks for letting me rant!

It’s hard to believe, but I am already 3/4 of the way through the IIN program! Time does fly when you’re enjoying your education. A few weeks back, I received my “midway” certificate to start coaching clients. Let’s do this!

IINcert

While I haven’t launched my health coaching-specific website just yet (a summer bucket list must-do!), I want to give you a heads up about my services  – the first sneak peek, if you will – and extend a free consultation to you (or anyone else you know who may be interested).

Would you like to…

  • improve your mood as you build a loving and trusting relationship with your body?
  • break off your relationship with the bathroom scale?
  • rediscover your inherent ability to listen to your body’s wants and needs?
  • meet your inner confidence due to feeling comfortable in your own skin?
  • reduce anxiety/stress as you live with complete food freedom?

As a client of my health coaching program, you will:

  • set and accomplish goals in a way that is empowering and exciting
  • work to achieve and maintain your natural weight
  • understand and reduce your cravings
  • increase your energy levels
  • feel great in your body
  • learn about new foods and how you can easily incorporate them
  • improve your personal relationships
  • discover the confidence to create the life you want

Your program includes:

  • complimentary initial consultation
  • two 50-minute coaching sessions per month
  • email support between sessions
  • recipes that are healthy and simple to prepare
  • coaching and support to help you make the dietary and lifestyle changes you want
  • simple yet informative handouts that will increase your nutrition knowledge
  • access to my free email newsletter with the latest health tips and recipes
  • my personal commitment to your health and success

Hillary-Parker

To decide if health coaching is right for you, I invite you to schedule a complimentary consultation with me – by phone or in person.

During this session, we will discuss your health and lifestyle to determine how I can best support you in achieving your goals.

Please email me to schedule: healthyhill3 {at} gmail {dot} com

Happy Friday Hump Day, friends! Enjoy your September weekend…

That program looks really interesting! I sometimes think going back to school for some sort of nutritional counseling would be something I’d enjoy! How many clients do you typically juggle?

I’m so sorry to hear about the blog problems! Those are the worst, ugh. Are you using the old version of Thesis? 1.8 or something?

I can’t believe you are almost done with school, that’s so exciting! I read more about the IIN program and it sounds amazing but unfortunately it just doesn’t fit into the finances right now. But it will be neat to see where you end up taking it. You are so compassionate and relatable – I know you will make a great health coach!!

      Aw, thanks Sarah! :)

Yes, I am still using Thesis 1.8 =/ Do you use the same theme? I am timid to update, though I know I need to…

I have 2.1 which is supposedly completely different than 1.8, but it upgraded to the new WP seamlessly. I like 2.1, but it’s almost impossible to find a designer that will work with it. They all work with Genesis (or only Thesis 1.8), but I like the classic look of Thesis and the SEO seems to be really good so I’m having a hard time leaving it. IDK. Blogger problems! ;)

Hehe, yes – blogger problems is right. They are big problems in our world ;)

So, you have Thesis 2.1 and now just updated to WP 4.0 with no issues!?

- hopped from one AirBNB to the next for 6 weeks while looking for a house to call home
- made new friends, virtually & IRL
- binge watched more TV shows than I can recall

- ascended new trails and explored alpine lakes of the Pacific Northwest

This challenging year was all about appreciating the little things while living through some really BIG things. 2020 had more than a few lessons to teach us all. Through a pandemic, pivotal change in presidency, and loud cry for human rights, I see very clearly how privileged I am. It was the year to let go of plans and lean in to a new perspective.

After all, hindsight is ②⓪②⓪.

Best thing about 2020... for me, it’s been relationships - virtual and IRL.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
One of the goals that I set for 2020 was to make one new local friend in Seattle (seriously something I wrote down as I began the new year moving across the country). While I’m happy to say that I did so (during a pandemic), I feel fortunate for the virtual friendships that developed, too.⁣⁣

I’ve gotta take a second to give a shoutout to my newest soul sista @weeksofwonder. You helped me get after it during my second year of entrepreneurship with a hefty dose of #2020 mayhem. 🙏🏼⁣⁣

Wendy and I met here on IG, and what started as a business relationship and accountability partner has turned into a special bond that transcends any walkie-talkie or social media app. This creative spirit has not only inspired me to get after it and dream bigger as an entrepreneur, but in the same way has encouraged me to honor rest and play: whether it’s giving each other kudos on Strava for tackling a run, building badass business plans and packages, or simply holding space to share the wins and the many woes, personally and professionally, of a memorable year. Having Wendy in my corner has led to some serious momentum and a sense of consistent community.⁣⁣
