Target® C9 Seamless Style Haul

October 20, 2014 by Hillary 16 Comments

Disclosure: This post was sponsored by Target® C9 through their partnership with POPSUGAR Select. While I was compensated to write a post about Target® C9, all opinions are my own.

I don’t know what I would do without Target®. I visit the store on an average of two times per week, and often more frequently. I’ll admit I have spent a Friday night or two circling the candle aisle and stocking up on my favorite chocolate chips. Sometimes, it’s just a quick stop for almond milk and a kombucha – the necessities. Nearly every trip, however, I somehow wind up walking past the women’s activewear section.

I’ve owned a handful of items from the Target® C9 by Champion line, so I was excited to be a part of this campaign to add a few more stylish, affordable, and comfortable pieces to my collection.

I stumbled upon the soft, seamless styles and immediately threw them into my basket. I picked up:

  • Women’s Raglan Sleeve Top in black

I was in need of an upgrade in the black pullover department, and this was exactly what I was looking for. I like that it’s not too fitted so I can layer it with nearly any workout tank. It’s particularly soft – yet not with the heaviness of fleece – and is ideal for fall running or as a light warm-up jacket.

  • Women’s Premium Seamless Tank in hot pink

In all honesty, I first spotted this tank on the PopSugar fitness star, Anna Renderer, and admired the sharp look. The tank is undeniably slim fitting – ideal for a yoga class (or stretching in the park!). I like the light support of the built-in bra feature for non-cardio activities. I also appreciate the adjustable, silk straps. Plus, the Duo Dry® stretch fabric keeps me dry during a session of down dogs.

  • Women’s Premium Seamless Yogi Capri in black

There’s no such thing as too many LBC (Little Black Crops) in my book. Again, the seamless design sold me here, as did the high, flat waistband. The body-hugging design of the capris with contouring side panels and longer inseam makes for a flattering look. My favorite element is the detailed hem around the calf – so sweet. And they, too, team up with the seamless tank with Duo Dry® technology. Being dry and comfortable from yoga in the park to errands around town is always appreciated.

Not only do I plan to lift and practice lotus in these seamless styles, but let’s be real – I live in activewear outside of 8:00am to 5:00pm. My new Target® C9 style haul is both motivating to power up my yoga practice and dependable enough to suit any casual weekend agenda.

Anna Renderer has the best looks! I love EVERYTHING on her. It is a super cute top. And are the pants tulip petals? Love them. I have basically everything from Target; I live there and never leave without spending too much! :)

I just wrote a blog post on how much I love Target’s C9 by Champion line, too! I’m obsessed with their dry wick capris, tops, and sports bras. They’re super cute and definitely affordable :)

I love almost everything that comes out of that collection. I’m a sucker for picking up stuff at Target. Somehow I always find several things that I *need* once I get there.

You look bangin’ in that pink tank! Soooooo how supportive would you say the built-in bra is? I have mega issues in that area. Built-in bras never fit mah girls.

I totally hear ya on that one. Let’s face it, is there such thing as a supportive built-in? No way. It’s not supportive enough to take the girls runnin’, but I imagine yoga and/or lifting would be fine (no plyometrics in this cute number).

I love that pink top on you.

I have a bunch of their sports bras, and really love them. They’re super cute and often reversible. Love Target for easy workout wear.

I’m like two shades whiter than you right now so don’t even go there with the pale comments. You look amazing!

And I’m loving those capris. I agree, the detailing at the bottom is super cute!

Lol. I don’t know if that’s possible, Sarah. Seriously, I don’t even need a Halloween costume because I look like a ghost already!

You might be able to find the capris on sale – I did!

Cute clothes – I’ve never bought or worn the C9 line from Target, but I may need to change that. These pieces look functional for a workout and super cute to wear around town afterwards. Do they hold up pretty well after a few washings?

Yes, they sure do! (I always hang dry all of my workout attire.)

This challenging year was all about appreciating the little things while living through some really BIG things. 2020 had more than a few lessons to teach us all. Through a pandemic, pivotal change in presidency, and loud cry for human rights, I see very clearly how privileged I am. It was the year to let go of plans and lean in to a new perspective.

After all, hindsight is ②⓪②⓪.

Best thing about 2020... for me, it’s been relationships - virtual and IRL.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
One of the goals that I set for 2020 was to make one new local friend in Seattle (seriously something I wrote down as I began the new year moving across the country). While I’m happy to say that I did so (during a pandemic), I feel fortunate for the virtual friendships that developed, too.⁣⁣

I’ve gotta take a second to give a shoutout to my newest soul sista @weeksofwonder. You helped me get after it during my second year of entrepreneurship with a hefty dose of #2020 mayhem. 🙏🏼⁣⁣

Wendy and I met here on IG, and what started as a business relationship and accountability partner has turned into a special bond that transcends any walkie-talkie or social media app. This creative spirit has not only inspired me to get after it and dream bigger as an entrepreneur, but in the same way has encouraged me to honor rest and play: whether it’s giving each other kudos on Strava for tackling a run, building badass business plans and packages, or simply holding space to share the wins and the many woes, personally and professionally, of a memorable year. Having Wendy in my corner has led to some serious momentum and a sense of consistent community.⁣⁣
