Hi friends – I hope you’ve had a lovely weekend.
I’ve been recuperating from unexpected jet lag. It feels good to be back home in California after a week in North Carolina. P and I have been soaking in the CA sunshine with weekend usuals – farmer’s market-ing, kombucha cocktail-ing, hiking, park running, car washing…
Before we slide into a new week, I want to share snippets from my week in the South – specifically at the new and jaw-dropping Sierra Nevada Brewery outside of Asheville.
As I mentioned Friday, the dangerously icy winter storm prevented the ample adventuring I had anticipated, but I got a sip of Southern sweetness (and snow!) nonetheless.
If you find yourself around the Asheville area, be sure to check out the new Sierra Nevada establishment in Mills River – regardless if you are a beer connoisseur. Foodies: the taproom is scheduled to open March 3.

AVL, I hope I’ll be seeing you again soon… in warmer weather!
My gosh! That is one of the prettiest breweries I’ve ever seen. I really need to visit the taproom in Chico. Right now two of my favorite beers are Hoppy Lager and Hop Hunter. Such great beers!
Kelli – You would die and go to heaven, lol. It’s immaculate!
Wow that place is gorgeous!!!
Now THAT is a cool-looking brewery.
