With Thanksgiving a few weeks away, a heightened awareness floats into the air of being grateful and thankful, and, more importantly, of sharing that gratitude.
While I made a goal in 2013 to write down three things for which I am thankful for daily, I am one of the majority in that I don’t express my gratitude – or feel my gratitude – as often I seek for mental strength and appreciation.
So… with this blog having a birthday in a week (stay tuned for a giveaway!), and for as long as I’ve been holding hands in the circle of friends that is the healthy living blog community, I see it fitting to pronounce my gratitude for a handful of blogs that bring a sense of gratitude to my life on the daily.
Peanut Butter Runner by Jen DeCurtins
Jen is so passionate about her work; you can tell she puts 100 percent into everything she does (and she does a lot!). From her challenging workouts to her inspiring words and courage to follow her dreams, she inspires me to say YES to life.
The Real Life RD by Robyn Coale
Robyn is one smart cookie and another young woman who isn’t afraid to grab life by the horns. A Registered Dietitian in the process of adding Nurse Practitioner behind her initials, her zippy attitude towards achieving a balanced life through intuitive, plant-based nourishment is most inspiring. I devour her blog posts because they are chock full of knowledge, from a personal and profession standpoint. You don’t need a nutrition textbook when you read The Real Life RD.
Caroline Winn Photography | Blog by Caroline Winn
Caroline: hustling; transparent; driven; talented… the list could go on. I have followed Caroline via the web for many years and have witnessed her photography career blossom. Not only is she an artist behind the lense, but her adventurous spirit is a quality of hers I wish to capture.
Making Thyme for Health by Sarah Cook
A fellow NorCal blogger, sweet Sarah motivates me to be creative in the kitchen. Let’s be real, that happens too seldom, but this recipe wizard can create decadent gluten-free treats and the most phenomenal salads – that’s my kind of balance. Thanks, Sarah, for your continual kitchen inspiration!
Fit Foodie Finds by Lee Hersh
Lee, goofy, girly, go-getter Lee. I love this girl… despite the fact that we’ve never met in person. While I don’t make nearly as many of her Pinterest-popular recipes as I should, this social media guru, recipe extraordinaire, and fit fashionista is one that gives me hope of young entrepreneurial dreams. You go, girl!
These are a mere five the of inspirational bloggers I follow on a daily basis. Thank you all for your continued inspiration – I am grateful for each and everyone one of ya!
