Good morning! I’m still stationed in NYC; tonight is the main event – my cousin’s wedding – good times ahead! I have one last guest post for you all while I’m away from the Nutrition Nut headquarters. The glamorous (yet sporty) Heather has a quick, Fall workout for you guys, so have fun getting your Saturday sweat on!

Hello Nutrition Nuts! My name is Heather and I write over at Housewife Glamour, a blog that follows my every day life with my husband, my job dancing for a professional sports team, and my love for all things health, beauty and fitness.
I started blogging while I was planning our wedding (which is partly where the idea for my blog name came from), and discovered the beautiful world of healthy living blogs in the process. Over the past few years, I have really enjoyed connecting with other bloggers both online and in person!
Although I have not actually met Hillary, I adore her blog and feel honored to be filling in while she’s away. Like her, I kind of have a thing for dark chocolate, coffee (although I prefer mine hot), and a lot of pumpkin inspired baking this time of year.
Her suggestion to post something fall and fitness related got me really excited to put something together just for you guys, so let’s get right to it!
Besides taking group fitness classes like yoga, Pilates, and barre, I like to keep in shape with workouts that involve running, HIIT, or Tabatas. Running is a passion of mine because it allows me to get outside, listen to different types of music, and soak in the fresh air and scenic routes while exercising.
With the cooler weather creeping in, I have been spending more days running outside and less days inside a gym. Since relocating up north from down south just a year ago, the fall has without a doubt become the season I enjoy the most.
I look for any excuse to get outdoors and recently got inspired to take my workouts there, too, no matter what my neighbors might think of me.
If you’re worried about getting your hands and knees dirty, try bringing a mat with you, or finding a spot around your home that doesn’t get too messy. If you’re like me, you might just enjoy a reason to roll around in the leaves or hang from a tree every now and then.
Pull-ups, anyone?
Below is a 15-minute circuit workout I put together that requires zero equipment. The time might sound breezy, but don’t let it fool you… after a few rounds of 60’s I was certainly feelin’ it!
Make sure to do all of the exercises back to back with a one minute rest between each round.

Want more? Throw in some extra credit by doing 60 sit-ups or other abdominal exercise of choice. Don’t be afraid to grab on and go for a full body exercise like leg ups or knee raises.
In doing so, you might just fall for these types of outdoor workouts like I have!
Thanks again, Hillary, for allowing me to guest post today, and to my new nutty friends, I hope you get the chance to pop over to Housewife Glamour and say hello every once in a while. Have a wonderful fall!
