Today we are taking a break from Europe Trip Diary posts to talk about the holidays… because somehow Thanksgiving is next week and the holiday season is among us. Wasn’t it just summer!?
Sending out holiday cards via snail mail is one of my favorite traditions of the season. I hold fond memories of helping my mom make 100+ cards to send out to friends and family near and far. Our dining room table was a Christmas card assembly line for a solid month: covered in colorful card stock, ink, stamps, ribbon, fancy scissors, envelopes, postage stamps, etc.
Now my mom and I no longer make our cards together, but I still enjoy sending warm wishes to loved ones during this cheerful season (just as much as I love receiving them, too — hint hint).
While Target has some seriously cute cards, last year I took mine to the next level by using Minted to create personalized photo cards. I was extremely pleased with how they turned out, so I am using their service again this year. Minted offered me a credit this season, so I would love your help deciding what design to choose…

I love the new post card styles they are offering this year, and have always loved the dual purpose of the ornament cards. I like the simplicity of the single-photo cards, yet I am leaning towards something where I can share a few pictures (yes, Europe pics!).

Plus, if you use envelopes, you can get free recipient addressing which makes your cards all the more polished. Minted almost always has a good discount running (especially during the holiday season), and they have also offered to give one reader a $50 credit to create their own cards — see giveaway below.
