It’s the first Monday of November, and I’m bringing back the Positive Monday Series that I’ve neglected since January.
I suppose I am still riding the high of Friday’s exciting announcement; yes, it is undoubtedly that which sparked this post and these words.
I do not know what going back to school will result in ultimately; but, the certification – which will unquestionably be accomplished – evolved from the decision to try.
I hope you have a wonderful week… trust in yourself to try.
channeling my inner Tiger Woods at the driving range with the boy.

Yesterday was a bit of a bummer day; a nagging cold, with an almost empty box of DayQuil, didn’t help. Instead of starting the week with a Debbie Downer attitude, I decided I would spritz on my positive-thinking perfume today and remind myself of happy things that I am looking forward to this week.

Have a positive Monday :)
Oh, Monday.
I could complain about you arriving so soon,
but rather,
I’ll look at the bright side;
I’ll make it a Positive Monday
by remembering what I’m grateful for.
Today I’m grateful for
being able to go for a 2-mile jog/walk in the beautiful weather yesterday (with minimal pain)
and giving my car a well-overdue bath in said sunshine.
Today I’m grateful for
the ability to nourish my body with healthy, wholesome food,
dark chocolate {gluten-free} brownies,
and tea, tea, and more tea.
Today I am grateful for
clean sheets and peach candles,
and that I have the privilege to go to work today and earn a paycheck.
Today I’m grateful it’s Monday.
One of my 2013 aspirations is to be grateful, daily, by writing down a few things I’m thankful for each given day. Today, for a Positive Monday post, I’ve come up with not one, two, or three, but 20 things I am appreciative of today.

20. YOU, for reading this blog
What are you grateful for?
I stumbled upon this image and was immediately reminded of a recent post I wrote about pursuing the present.
On this Positive Monday, I hope you will choose happy.
It’s here again…
Monday, Positive Monday.
Put on a smile and wear it the rest of the week because
you are worth it.
