Hi friends!
I’m switching things up today and taking a break from Europe Diary posts (just Switzerland and Sweden to go) because Mother’s Day is around the corner (Sunday, May 8), and after writing lots about our mother-daughter adventure, I am reminded of just how special of a relationship I have with my mom. She showers me with love constantly, whether it be an hour-long, teary heart-to-heart when I’m PMSing, or a card in the mail with TurmericBoost Uplift to cheer me up. My mom is that person who hears it all – there are no walls between us – and she probably knows more about me than she wants to. Even at 26, I need my mom.
Mother’s Day isn’t the only day I try to show appreciation to my mama for all that she does for me, emotionally and physically, as I can only imagine that being a mom is the toughest job in the world (and hopefully rewarding, too); but, because the annual holiday is next weekend, I came up with a few gift ideas that my mom may enjoy, and perhaps will give you ideas, too.
Mother’s Day Gift Ideas
I personally have been using and loving Acure Organics products and have recently started using this facial oil myself. Rosehip oil “is known as a balancing oil due to its low pH to help protect the skin’s natural acid mantle and its concentration of antioxidants. Feed and restore cells, while correcting the signs of aging and environmental damage with natural lycopene, Vitamin C + E and essential fatty acids.” Pair it with this Rose Lip Polish for a gift set to pamper mom.
I received my first fix in February, and it was so much fun! I kept this blanket scarf and a pair of ultra comfy skinny jeans. Whether your mom is a fashionista, or she doesn’t enjoy shopping at all, a Stitch Fix gift card is a gift most any woman would appreciate. With a gift card, she can set up her style profile, and select when she would like her fix delivered. When she’s receives her fix, she can apply her gift card to the clothing pieces, shoes, and accessorizes that she decides to keep.
Cookbook
Is your mom a foodie? Eating Purely, It’s All Easy, and Minimalist Baker’s Everyday Cooking are a few beautiful (healthy) recipe books that I have my eye on.
Personalized Journal/Notebook
Minted has lovely journals and notebooks that you can customize for a personal gift. Add a set of stationary for a thoughtful touch.
Rollerball Perfume
I love this fresh, floral Anemone scent from Illume (pair with a bouquet of anemone flowers), and Pacifica has a variety of natural roll-on perfumes for an affordable price.
I also love to browse Etsy for cute cards. Who doesn’t appreciate a sweet card? I truly think it is a mom’s favorite thing to receive.
